New Account

Thu Aug 23, 2007, 8:22 AM
Well, I've barely posted on this account for ages. Indigo14 is pretty much dead. I thought it best to create a new, shiny account and start all over. I haven't been drawing much, I've been too busy with my acting and my GCSEs. My art is really slipping so, if I'm not too busy at college (which I probably will be) I'm going to draw A LOT. What I will be posting on this new account will be a little basic to begin with as I haven't been practicing but hopefully it will improve gradually.

If you would like to follow me to my new account, please do, if not, see you around and good luck in the future!

One Year

Thu Jul 20, 2006, 1:43 AM
Wow, my one year anniversary at DA has been and gone and I didn't even notice. It feels like I've been here forever. It's also been a year since my parents split and my dad moved out and a year since I was at the Big Youth Theater Festival in London. It's also been a year since I did my SATS.

It's been a very wierd year. A lot of very difficult things have happened to me and I've been down a lot but it's also been a lot better than the year before. I've been happier and sadder than I was... Very odd.

Mum's Fine!

Thu Jul 13, 2006, 8:26 AM
My mum had an operation yesterday on her leg. She had a varicose vein in her leg which developed a blood clot. She had the vein taken out at the hospital and she's fine. She's got one big cut and nine little one's on her leg. She can still walk but she's got to sit with her leg up. I'm really glad she's good.

We were at New College today with school. We had to go. it was alright but no where near as good as Greenhead. I don't know what fourth subject I want to do yeat. I know I'm doing Drama, Art and Design and Religion Philosphy and Ethics but I don't know what else.

NAGTY soon. I'm worried.

Greenhead

Wed Jul 5, 2006, 8:45 AM
I went to an open morning at Greenhead college this morning. It was brilliant and so much fun. I recorded my vocals in music cos they'be got a whole proper recording studio set up. They had done a backing to Let it Be by The Beatles with the students and recorded a different vocalist every school that came. I was the only one who sings for GCSE and the only one that would do it. I was really nervous but I've recorded it properly and it sounds really good.

Their art department is great too. It's like a completely different subject to GCSE. GCSE is all about getting grades and making something that looks pretty. A level is all about emotion and expressing yourself. You are encoraged to do creative things like make films and sculptures. My teacher now doesn't want me to do photography.

I'm afraid I've got to report two more deaths. It's really upsetting me. So many people I know are dying. One of the receptionists at my school died in a car accident on Sunday. I didn;t know her well but some of my friends did and said she was really nice. One girl actually was supposed meeting with her on Monday morning so do with flyers for this performance. She told her on friday that she would get back to her on monday.

The second death has upset me. One of the little boys from my work experience at a school has died recently. He was really nice and he was my partner when we did physiotherapy, massage and swimming. I think he died of a heart attack but he died at home which is good. It's really sad as he wasn't very old. I'm going to a garden party at the school becuase it's closing and merging with another special school. Quite a few of the teachers won't be there though. I hope it's not too sad there because I don't want to be unpsrt i want to have a good time.

100 deviations!

Yay, a bit of a landmark for me. Wow. I realy didn't think I had that many.

Fantastic party on saturday night. It was my mum's 50th (she really doesn't look it) and we had so much fun. Me and my dad sang and played the guitar while everyone was eating and I was so nevous but it went really well. Loads of my friends were there (including Spooky and Richie-Wonderful) and later on into the evening we were all sat around outside with my dad and Tom's guitar and a harmonica making up songs. It just rocked. The food was great too as she'd got a caterer and booked a hall so she didn't have to bother.

I've decided what I'm going to make for my textiles project:

See the pattern second down on the left? I'm making that coat in red velvet ad lace. My theme is pirates and pirates of the carribean. You see where it's made in lots of sections? I'm going to split those in the skirt of the cost part way up and add pleats of lace and ruffles to the sleeves.
