Artist's Comments
Made from an old barbie. I removed all the lipstick, most of the eyelashes and horrible pink blush with nail varnish remover. I then painted in her lips with dark glitter purple nail varnish and added piercings using a cocktail stick and the same. I painted over the stuch on plastic underwear in black and washed and cut her hair. I sewed a simple dress from a pair of old ladered tights and cut a hole in it, sewing it back up with silver thread. I drew on fishnets and jewelery with a permanent marker and made some legwarmers from the tights. I decorated it with ribbons round her knees, waist and in her hair.
My first proper customised doll needs a name! Any suggestions? |
